This is the third novel in Helen Fielding’s beloved Bridget Jones series. Set 20 years after Bridget Jones’s Diary, this instalment finds Bridget navigating life as a widow following the tragic passing of her husband, Mark Darcy. Now 51 years old, she is juggling single parenthood, dating, and modern technology, including texting and social media.

Bridget embarks on a romance with Roxster, a 29-year-old “toy boy”, while also dealing with the chaos of raising her two children, Billy and Mabel. As always, she obsessively logs her weight, alcohol intake, and embarrassing texts, all while attempting to write a screenplay. The film explores themes of grief, resilience, and self-discovery, with Bridget’s signature humour and charm shining through.
