Murder in The Market Place:

Anxious to cash in on the public’s appetite for detective drama’s, the Chairman of the local dramatic society writes a whodunit but, in a bizarre twist he then finds himself embroiled in a real-life murder mystery that threatens to put him behind bars.  The quarrelsome quartet have been in some sticky situation over the years but can they possibly get away with murder?

Alternative Accommodation:

Recently widowed, Anna is visited by her three middle-aged children who have decided that the family house must be sold and Anna move either to a residential home or sheltered housing.  In fact, anywhere so long as it’s not with them.  However…..

Funeral Tea:

Mrs Ellis, the lady who caters small weddings and funeral teas says that she normally serves boiled ham “but seeing as ‘ow this is my first cremation, I didn’t think boiled ‘am would be appropriate”. As the ladies sip their tea, it becomes apparent that someone has misplace the urn and dear Uncle Jacob’s ashes. When Sarah suggests that the tea tastes odd and they discover that the tea container still locked in the cupboard, they face an appalling possibility. A riotously funny play for an all-female cast.

Last Tango At The Galtres:

The Galtres Amateur Dramatic Society is in trouble.  The membership has dwindled to four, the audiences are not much bigger and, if they don’t come up with some rent money soon, they are going to be thrown out.

“There’s only one thing that sells tickets these days” argues Chairman. “Sex”

Thus begins the chaotic and hilarious build-up to an evening the locals would never forget.
